Grief & Loss Counseling
You may be carrying a kind of pain you've never experienced before—deep, overwhelming, and all-encompassing. It can touch your body, mind, heart, and spirit, leaving you feeling exhausted and uncertain if the pain will ever ease. You may be holding sadness, guilt, or anger so intense that you hesitate to share it, worried it might be “too much” for someone else. This can lead to withdrawal and isolation, leaving you feeling that no one could truly understand what you’re going through.
You loss may be the death of a family member or loved one—someone with whom you shared a close relationship, or perhaps a more distant or complex relationship. You may find yourself grieving not only the loss itself, but also what the relationship could have been or what you hoped it would be. Conflicting emotions—anger, sorrow, confusion—can coexist in ways that feel overwhelming and difficult to understand.
Whether you lost someone this past year or ten years ago, grief can feel like the loss just happened yesterday.
Together, we will gently explore the layers of your grief. I will help you find language to your experience, uncover meaning, and create space for integration. Through this process, you can begin to find clarity, healing, and a deeper connection with yourself and those around you.
