Frequently Asked Questions

Fee
Individual: $190 for 45-min sessions
Couples/Family or Biweekly: $240 for 60-min sessions
I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for those in financial need. Please feel free to ask for more information during our initial consultation.
Insurance
I am currently out of network and do not directly accept insurance. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact with your insurance provider for details on coverage and reimbursement rates.
Telehealth
I offer online therapy to all California residents through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Teletherapy provides flexibility and convenience, especially for those with busy schedules or complex life situations. It can be just as effective as in-person sessions and often creates a more comfortable space when you are in your own home or current location.
I also offer in-person appointments at my office in Torrance.
Scheduling
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and answer any questions you may have. If it feels like we may be a good fit, we will schedule a regular and consistent session time. Weekly sessions are highly recommended, especially in the beginning, as they help build trust and safety. Over time, the frequency of sessions can be adjusted based on your therapeutic needs and goals.
Cancellation Policy
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us enough time to find another time or offer the slot to be available for others who may need it. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled session will be charged the full session fee.
Thank you for honoring this clinical boundary, as your session time is reserved especially for you. Please note that insurance does not cover missed or late-canceled appointments.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You can ask your health care provider to provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your service or item. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from any provider you choose before scheduling a service.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Be sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate for reference. For questions or more information about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
